Aviel is carbon neutral
Aviel has received a carbon neutral certification from the Carbon Reduction Institute in August 2007. Prior to certifying Aviel as the world’s first NoCO2 coaching business, the Carbon Reduction Institute
undertook a thorough carbon emissions assessment to determine Aviel’s
carbon footprint. Carbon emissions were identified in the areas of
travel, energy usage, waste, and embodied emissions from assets and
expenses. Aviel has reduced those carbon emissions and offsets
unavoidable emissions through energy efficiency projects which lower
greenhouse gas emissions in Australia. Every quarter, Aviel reports
back to the Carbon Reduction Institute about any changes in the emissions output to maintain a truly carbon neutral status.
